Our partners are food, drink or household items suppliers that are vetted by our team based on three criteria:

1. Independence
2. Ethicality
3. Sustainability  

We believe in local and sustainable food systems. We prioritise producers that take care in their production, have less impact on the environment and support their communities. Under these principles, we collaborate with our partners to bring you a seamless shopping experience.

When you enter your postcode you'll automatically be able to see who delivers to you.

Don't forget to share them with your friends, family and neighbours!

How do I order

There are two ways to order: 

1. Local round

Just like the old milkman who went round the neighbourhood dropping off small amounts to each household, you can shop directly with different producers in the same way. The perk of the Neighbourhood option is that free delivery is activated on a lower minimum spend when enough people sign up. 

How to sign up:

- Look for a producer with a local delivery badge and join a route they deliver on by subscribing

- Your local butcher, for example, might deliver on a Thursday. Each week you will be able to adjust your order before the cut off time (for example 12pm Wednesday), for delivery on the supplier's delivery day

- If on a certain week you do not need delivery, you can skip it by hitting the Skip button

- You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cost

A delivery route will activate when enough people sign up to it and you will be notified. Each supplier decides how many people need to join to activate a route, so don’t forget to share with friends, family and your neighbourhood.

2. Standard online shopping

You can still choose a producer to shop with, regardless of whether or not they have local delivery. You're still able to browse their products, select which ones you want and add them to your basket. You can then select your delivery day and complete your purchase.

How does Communiti work?

Communiti serves as a community-driven platform, connecting customers with high-quality food, beverages, and household items from independent suppliers.

With access to hundreds of food and drink producers online, Communiti streamlines your shopping experience.

Simply input your postal code to find producers that deliver to your area and browse through businesses based on local delivery availability, popularity, and product categories such as Drinks, Fruit and Veg, and Household items.

Enjoy the flexibility of one-time purchases or opt for subscriptions with the freedom to modify, pause, or cancel before being charged. Rest assured, you'll always receive a warning prior to any charges.

Everything about local rounds
Why join one?

Local rounds are a great way to connect with local and independent producers that have regular routes in your area. When enough customers in a particular area subscribes, a round in that area will be activated and FREE delivery will be available to every customer in the round. 

Producers such as butchers, greengrocers and coffee roasters typically offer this in their local area so you can can enjoy regular drop offs of fresh, quality produce.

Examples:

• Weekly subscription to your local greengrocer, delivered on Monday.

• Monthly subscription of freshly roasted coffee, delivered on Thursday.

Please note, standard shopping is still available whether around has been activated or not, so don't fear, you'll still be able to shop with us regardless.

Do you deliver in my Neighbourhood?

When you enter your postcode you'll automatically be able to see who delivers to you. If you head to the local delivery section, you'll be able to see existing rounds and join them.

Don't forget to share them with your friends, family and neighbours!

Can I reschedule my order for another day once it has been placed?

Once an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled. However, future orders that have not yet been placed can be cancelled.

When will my items arrive?

Your items will be delivered to you on the day requested or stated at the checkout. For any issues regarding deliveries, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Placing my order
When do I have to place my order?

Each supplier has their own delivery conditions. 

Check both:

1. Their page where you’ll see the next available delivery.
2. The checkout where you can select specific dates

Please note we currently do not offer delivery slot times. If you have ordered fresh products please ensure you are there to collect them on the day of delivery or have a safe space to leave them. 

Can I place an order as a gift?

Just make sure to add an address in
'Delivery Addresses' in: https://app.trycommuniti.com/auth/profile

And select the address at checkout.

It’s worth noting that hyper local suppliers may not deliver to people in other towns or cities. When you change your address, you will be notified if your chosen supplier does not deliver to your desired area.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards such as American Express, Mastercard, Visa etc.

When is my credit/debit card charged when I place an order?

Subscriptions are charged at the cut off time. You can see this information on your subscription card in:  https://app.trycommuniti.com/orders

For one-off (regular) purchases, your card will be charged at the point of purchase.

We have partnered with Stripe to make sure all payments are fast, secure and trustworthy.

My existing order
Can I buy a gift voucher?

Reach out to hello@trycommuniti.com and we can generate a voucher for you!

Can I leave a review or rating for the producer?

We would love to hear what you think about your products!

If you would like to leave a review on your order, you can do so on the ‘Orders’ page. Each completed order has the option to review, click the ‘Review my order’ button and complete the steps.

Can I reschedule my order for another day once it has been placed?

Can I change my order?

There’s currently no way to make direct changes to an order you’ve just placed. If you would like to change your order or request a refund, click the chat support button or email us at hello@trycommuniti.com.

What happens to my food delivery if I'm not home?

When you sign up you can choose a back up option for your delivery. Either a safe place or a trusted neighbour.
